The Astros have announced that pitcher Chuckie Fick has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A.Houston claimed Fick off of waivers from the Cardinals back in July, and posted a 4.30 ERA in 23 relief innings with Houston in 2012.
Analysis: Fick's minor league numbers look good but anytime you get removed from the Astros' roster, that is sort of saying that you should consider a different profession. However, he has some upside so Houston will hold onto him.
