The Yankees have claimed infielder Matt Antonelli off of waivers from the Orioles. Antonelli who was designated for assignment 4 days ago, will report to triple-A. Antonelli signed a minor league deal with the Orioles in the off-season. He hit .204 for the Orioles triple-A affiliate before the O's released him. The San Diego Padres picked Antonelli 17th overall in the 2006 draft and he has proved to be a bust thus far.
