The Phillies have sold catcher Tuffy Gosewisch to the Blue Jays. Toronto is currently without J.P. Arencibia and top catching prospect Travis d'Arnaud due to injuries.
Gosewisch, 28, has hit .192 in 228 plate appearances for Philadelphia's Triple-A affiliate this year.
