The Dodgers have announced that veteran outfielder Bobby Abreu has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A. He has decided to accept his outright assignment.Abreu's power has completely disappeared, but has continued to get on base at an above-average rate. He hit .246 in 236 plate appearances with the Angels and Dodgers this year.
