Diamondbacks release Scott Podsednik
The Diamondbacks have granted Scott Podsednik his release after he declined an assignment to Triple-A. Arizona recently acquired him in the Craig Breslow deal.
Podsednik has hit .387 in 70 plate appearances with Boston this year.
