The Twins announced that pitcher Jeff Gray has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A. The move creates space for Chris Parmelee, who has been recalled from Triple-A.Gray posted a 5.71 ERA in 52 relief innings with Minnesota this year.
Analysis: Gray isn't very good so this isn't surprising. However, I'm excited to see what Parmelee can do at the big league level. I know that he's had a few cups of coffee with Minnesota over the last two years, but it is time for him to live up to his hype and become Justin Morneau's successor over at first base.
