The Nationals have released catcher Koyie Hill. Washington acquired Kurt Suzuki today, which ultimately made Hill expendable.Hill appeared in 11 games with the Cubs this season before being designated for assignment by them and choosing free agency. He then signed with Washington in June on a minor league deal.
