Rangers sign Koyie Hill

The Rangers have signed veteran backstop Koyie Hill to a minor league deal. The Nationals recently released Hill, who appeared in 11 games for the Cubs this year.

Analysis: Simple depth signing. Hill will probably get a September call up and serve as the team's third string catcher behind Napoli and Soto.
