The Red Sox have signed outfielder Scott Podsednik to a Major League deal. Boston traded him to Arizona in the Craig Breslow deal a couple weeks ago, but Arizona released him a couple days later.Podsednik has hit .387 in 70 plate appearances this season, and hit .242 in Triple-A. He missed more than two weeks with a groin strain earlier this season.
