The Brewers have announced that outfielder Nyjer Morgan has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A.Morgan had a nice season in 2011, helping Milwaukee win the NL Central crown, but struggled in the 2012 season, hitting .239 in a part time role.
Analysis: Morgan really looked like a solid player in 2011, but his value fell down after poor performance in 2012. His attitude will probably keep him from getting everyday playing time in 2013, and I expect him to probably refuse his outright assignment here and become a free agent.
