 The Astros are currently 15-19 and will soon be coming to the realization that they will not compete this season. At that point they will probably look to trade their veterans who are hot to get good prospects.  Here is a list of players of the Astros that I believe should be traded at the trade deadline this season. I will also give an analysis about each player:

Brandon Lyon, Brett Myers, Wandy Rodriguez, Chris Snyder, Carlos Lee.

Brandon Lyon:  Lyon currently has a 2.19 ERA in 14 games and is raising his trade market value significantly. He isn't closing games for Houston but he is proving that he can still pitch and that's a big plus. % chance that he gets traded: 75%

Brett Myers: Myers is currently serving as the teams closer and has posted a 1.42 ERA in 13 games. He has 9 saves in 10 opportunities and will be a free agent at the end of the season. Houston will most likely trade him regardless of what his numbers look like at the deadline. % chance that he gets traded: 90%

Wandy Rodriguez: Rodriguez's name has always been mentioned at the trade deadline because he is very consistent and his team is always out of contention. Last year he was almost sent to the Colorado Rockies but the trade fell through. Wandy currently has a 1.99 ERA with a win-loss record of 3-3. % chance that he gets traded: 98%

Astros GM Jeff Luhnow will have a lot of trades to make at the deadline.

Chris Snyder: Synder is currently hitting .146 this season with one home run and 7 hits. I know he is doing terrible, but if he manages to hit 6-8 home runs by the deadline along with 20-25 RBIS, I believe he will be traded to a contending team looking for a backup catcher. % chance that he gets traded: 65%

Carlos Lee:  The Astros desperately want to get rid Carlos Lee, especially because its the last year of his contract and there's a very good chance that he ditches Houston in the off-season and signs with an American League team that contends every year to become their DH. Lee cannot play left field anymore and he can barely play first base. Lee is currently hitting .269 with 2 HRs and 14 RBI. He has a no trade clause and desperately wants to stay with Houston (for whatever reason.) % chance he gets traded: % 90.
