The Blue Jays have designated right hander Ryota Igarashi for assignment. The Blue Jays also optioned position player Yan Gomes to Triple-A. These moves have allowed the club to call up pitcher Chad Beck and they also selected the contract of Jesse Chavez from Triple-A.
