Carlos Santana put on 7 day DL

The Cleveland Indians have placed catcher Carlos Santana on the 7 day disabled list today after he left last night's game early after a foul ball off of Alex Rio's bat hit him in the face mask.

Tough break for Santana. 

Analysis: That's a tough break for some fantasy owners who own Santana but I don't see it as a major concern for the Indians unless he has a concussion. The Indians have, as usual, had some bad luck with injury's this year. As always, Grady Sizemore is on the DL and right now Asdrubal Cabrera is day to day with hamstring tightness and Travis Hafner is not playing because of a right knee injury. Lets just hope that the Indians pitching can keep the Indians afloat in the central until there big bats come back.
