The Orioles announced today that utility player Bill Hall has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk. Hall was designated for assignment yesterday.
Analysis: I'm surprised no one put a claim on Bill Hall. He is a good utility player to have on your team and he could provide some power off the bench as well. This probably isn't the last that we've seen Bill Hall though, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the call back up to the big leagues in the next week or two or if a position player gets hurt.
