Orioles designate Bill Hall for assignment
The Orioles have designated infielder Bill Hall for assignment this afternoon. Catcher Luis Exposito has also been sent to Triple-A and the team has recalled position players Stu Pomeranz and Ronny Paulino.
The Orioles signed Hall to a minor league deal in April after he elected free agency once he learned that he did not make the Yankees' opening day roster. Hall has had experience at every position in the field except catcher and first base.
