Rangers General Manager Jon Daniels has publicly stated that the team will consider Roy Oswalt now that starting pitching Neftali Feliz is on the disabled list. The Rangers watched Oswalt throw on Friday and were, for the most part, impressed by his performance. Now that Feliz is injured, the club may look at Oswalt or they might put Scott Feldman or Alexi Ogando in the rotation as Feliz recovers. Oswalt probably wouldn't be able to step in the rotation immediately so even if the Rangers sign him, he probably won't reach the big leagues until Feliz is back and healthy.

| We all know that Oswalt can pitch, but will he be able to stay healthy? |
Analysis: Well, this could be interesting. Its a tough call for GM Jon Daniels. He must pick between Scott Feldman, Alexi Ogando, and taking a flier on Roy Oswalt and hoping he stays healthy and performs well. I personally think that the Rangers should stay away from Oswalt because his injury history has been alarming. Feldman can take Feliz's rotation spot for now and I think it would be wrong to take Ogando out of the bullpen, because he has flourished in the setup-man role.
