Andy Pettitte out for 2 months

The Yankees have placed Andy Pettitte on the 15 day disabled list after suffering a fractured ankle against the Indians on Wednesday. Some believe that he will be out for 6-8 weeks. Either Adam Warren or David Phelps will take Pettitte's spot in the rotation.

Analysis: This is awful news for the Yankees. They lost CC Sabathia and Andy Pettitte in one day. Now Freddy Garcia will have to take Sabathia's place in the rotation and Pettitte will be replaced by Warren or Phelps. The rotation isn't looking good, so look for GM Brian Cashman to make a move soon.
