Blue Jays looking to add players

Despite being last place in the AL East and losing three key starting pitchers within the last week, the Blue Jays are going to remain in "buy" mode and will look to add players. Toronto has had its scouts working very hard to try and find a pitcher that can fit in their rotation.

Kyle Drabek, Drew Hutchison, and Brandon Morrow have all hit the disabled list recently, and the Jays have had limited pitching depth. They have recently talked to the Rockies about Jeremy Guthrie and supposedly had a scout look at Wandy Rodriguez last night.

Analysis: The Blue Jays have the talent to be competitive in the AL East, but they're pitching is lacking now that three of there young pitchers have gone down due to injury. This will probably open the door to a trade involving Joe Saunders, Matt Garza or Wandy Rodriguez. This is when it starts getting exciting, we are getting near the trade deadline.
