Evan Longoria suspends rehab

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria has suspended his rehab process after he experienced discomfort in his partially torn left hamstring. There is no timetable for his return. He claims that he didn't re-injure the hamstring, he just did not want to have further discomfort.

The All-Star third baseman has been out since May 3 and hoped to be back with the Rays this week.

Analysis: The Rays' offense has been struggling this season and Longoria's absence has initiated those struggles. Its a real shame that he is now out without a timetable, and hopefully he comes back soon and  stays healthy.
