The Nationals have announced that they will keep Tyler Clippard in the closers role when Drew Storen comes back off of the DL.Clippard has 12 saves and has converted every save this season. He has a 1.95 ERA in 33 games. Storen has not played at all this season.
Analysis: Storen is one of my favorite players but Clippard deserves to stay in the closers role. He has been perfect so far this season. This is a great move by Manager Davey Johnson and it shows that he has a lot of confidence in Clippard.
