Blue Jays place Bautista on 15 day DL

The Blue Jays have placed outfielder Jose Bautista on the 15 day disabled list because of a wrist injury. Bautista was hurt during the eighth inning of Monday's Blue Jays-Yankees game. 

His X-Rays were negative and Toronto has said that Bautista has wrist inflammation. Bautista has hit .244 with 27 home runs and 65 RBI. 

Toronto has called up top prospect Anthony Gose to replace Bautista on the roster. Gose has hit .293 with five home runs and 41 RBI this season for Triple-A Las Vegas.
