The Braves have signed pitcher Ben Sheets to a minor league deal. He will make his first start on July 4th for Atlanta's Double-A affiliate.Sheets last pitched in the MLB in 2010 with the A's. He had a 4.53 ERA in 20 starts that season before he undergoing flexor tendon surgery.
