The Mariners have designated catcher Adam Moore for assignment. The move clears a roster spot for Josh Kinney.Moore was the sixth round selection by the M's in the 2006 draft. He hasn't appeared in a game for the M's this season, but played 24 games in Triple-A, batting .209.
