The Angels have placed pitcher Dan Haren on the 15 day disabled list due to back soreness that he has apparently had all season long. This is the first time Haren has been put on the disabled list in his career.Haren is 6-8 with a 4.86 ERA in 17 games started this year.
Analysis: Haren has been awful this season and he has finally admitted that he has an injury. Hopefully he gets well again soon and returns to being one of the most underrated pitchers in the game.
