Nationals sign Mike MacDougal

The Nationals have signed pitcher Mike MacDougal to a minor league deal. He will provide the Nationals with bullpen depth, presumably at the minor league level.

The Dodgers signed MacDougal to a one year, $1 million deal before the season, but they released him in May. He then signed a minor league deal with the Cubs, but struggled, posting a 7.85 ERA at the Triple-A level. He then got released again.
