The Phillies have designated outfielder Jason Pridie for assignment. Laynce Nix has been activated from the disabled list in a corresponding move.Pridie has appeared in 9 games for Philadelphia this season. He played in 101 games for the Mets last year, hitting .231 in 236 plate appearances. He signed with Oakland over the winter but didn't play a game with them following a 50 game suspension for a drug violation.
