The Rangers have designated catcher Yorvit Torrealba for assignment. Torrealba became expendable once Texas acquired Geovany Soto from the Cubs earlier today.The Rangers are likely to trade Torrealba, because many teams are currently looking for catching help. Torrealba has hit .236 in 182 plate appearances this year.
