Alfonso Soriano was removed early from today's Cubs-Pirates game because the Cubs front office planned on trading him to the Giants. Soriano has told reporters that he will not accept the trade to the Giants and will remain with the Cubs unless they figure out a new team to deal him to.Soriano has hit .274 with 19 homers and 61 RBI in 94 games for the Cubbies this year.
