The Mets have placed pitcher Johan Santana on the 15 day disabled list because of an apparent ankle injury. Santana injured his ankle two weeks ago against the Cubs after Reed Johnson stepped on it in a collision at first base.Santana has a 6-7 record this year, and has posted a 3.98 ERA in 110 2/3 innings pitched. Since the ankle injury, Santana is 0-3 with a 13.51 ERA.
