Bixler clears waivers, outrighted to Triple-A

The Astros have announced that infielder Brian Bixler has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A. Bixler was designated for assignment by Houston on Tuesday, and has hit .267 in 229 plate appearances at the Triple-A level this season.
