The Cubs have signed pitcher Horacio Ramirez to a minor league deal. He has been assigned to Triple-A.Ramirez posted a 1.96 ERA in 12 starts for the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League this year. Last season, he spent time in the Angels' Triple-A affiliate, where he posted a 3.96 ERA in 45 appearances.
