The Indians have announced that outfielder/designated hitter Shelley Duncan has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A. Cleveland designated Duncan for assignment two days ago.Duncan has hit .203 with 11 homers on the year.
Analysis: Wow. I was really convinced that Duncan was going to get claimed. I don't understand why a team would pass up on a guy with decent power. He's a guy that I would want on my bench. Well, whatever. Moving on.
