The Brewers announced that pitcher Mike McClendon has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A.McClendon appeared in 9 games for Milwaukee this season but spent the majority of the season in Triple-A, where he has posted a 3.98 ERA in 31 innings.
Analysis: I'm surprised that no one took a chance on McClendon. He is only 27 years old and has some upside.
