The Orioles have designated outfielder Endy Chavez for assignment. In a corresponding move, Nate McLouth was recalled from Triple-A.Chavez has struggled this season, hitting .190 in 47 games for Baltimore. He signed a one year, $1.5 million deal with the Orioles in December.
