White Sox sign Jose Lopez
The White Sox have signed infielder Jose Lopez to a minor league contract and assigned him to their Triple-A affiliate. The Indians released Lopez over the weekend.
Lopez has hit .249 in 224 plate appearances for Cleveland this year.
