Cousins hit .163 in 92 plate appearances with Miami in 2012. He has experience at all three outfield spots and is a career .288 hitter at the Triple-A level.
Analysis: Cousins is really a fourth outfielder at best, considering that the man just cannot hit at the major league level. He is a good defensive outfielder, and I'm sure that he'll make the team next season, and if he finds a way to translate his minor league numbers to the big leagues, then this will be a decent pickup.
