The Diamondbacks have announced that they have re-signed outfielder Brent Clevlen to a new contract.Arizona signed Clevlen to a minor league deal back in April, and hit a combined .290 in 345 plate appearances for Double-A and Triple-A this season.
Analysis: Ok, whatever. Clevlen's minor league stats are pretty good but he hasn't really gotten a chance to play at the big league level. Don't expect him to be in the majors next year unless the Diamondbacks have a fire sale of some sort and get rid of every one of their outfielders, which is highly unlikely.
