Moore outrighted to Triple-A

The Angels have announced that outfielder Jeremy Moore has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A.

Moore missed the entire 2012 season due to hip surgery, and he made his MLB debut in 2011 with the Angels. He spent most of the 2011 season in Triple-A, hitting .298 with 15 home runs.

Analysis: Moore's stats look pretty darn good so I'm surprised that he didn't get claimed. Considering that he is only 25 years old and has upside, the Angels definitely got lucky here. The  right hip surgery probably scared away most teams.
