The Brewers have re-signed infielder Hector Gomez to a minor league deal with an invite to Spring Training.Gomez was once ranked No. 95 on Baseball America's top 100 prospects list (in 2008), but has really struggled to find his offensive game. He hit just .131 in 95 minor league plate appearances in 2012.
Analysis: Since the Brewers have barely any infield depth, Gomez could possibly see some big league action in 2013. The guy is not a threat at all with the bat, so that is definitely slowing down his development.
