Rizzo has hit .355 with 23 home runs and 62 RBI while in Triple-A this season.
Analysis: Great news for Cubs fans because they have been waiting for this day ever since Chicago got him from San Diego in the winter. Rizzo had an awful year last year for San Diego but has definitely been able to hit at the Triple-A level, which indicates that he may be able to transfer those numbers to the major league level. I have high expectations for Rizzo. 10-15 home runs with 50 RBI and a .290 batting average are reasonable predictions for the young power hitter. This is also interesting because the Cubs have moved LaHair to the outfield. I still think LaHair is going to be traded and his days as a Cub could be numbered. Stay tuned.
