The Rockies have signed pitcher Jason Bergmann. Bergmann had been pitching for the Camden Riversharks of the independent Atlantic League. The Rockies desperately need pitching depth, and he is most likely going to be placed in Triple-A.He has a career ERA of 5.04 in six career seasons with the Nationals.
