The Indians have claimed pitcher Fabio Martinez off of waivers from the Angels. Cleveland optioned Martinez to Single-A, they plan on converting him to a relief pitcher.Martinez has been pitching at the Single-A level this year. The 22 year old posted a 10.72 ERA in 22 2/3 innings, all as a starting pitcher.
