The Indians have released pitcher Jason Knapp. Knapp was a key part in the 2009 trade that sent Cliff Lee to the Phillies, but several injuries have limited his playing time in the minors.He is still only 22 years old, and has posted a 3.63 ERA in three career minor league seasons.
