Jurrjens hits the 15 day DL

The Braves have placed pitcher Jair Jurrjens on the 15 day disabled list with a strained right groin. Manager Fredi Gonzalez told reporters that Jurrjens injured his groin during his last start against the Marlins.

Jurrjens has struggled this year, posting a 6.89 ERA this season. He was actually sent down to Triple-A by Atlanta earlier this year.
