The Phillies announced that infielder Hector Luna has been elected free agency after being removed from the team's 40-man roster.Luna appeared in 28 games for Philadelphia this year, playing some outfield and corner infield. He hit .226 in 66 plate appearances. Luna is a seven-year MLB veteran.
