The Reds have designated outfielder Mike Constanzo for assignment. The move creates space for catcher Dioner Navarro.
Constanzo has had one hit in 21 plate appearances for the Reds this year. He has been involved in two big trades in his career. The first one was the Brad Lidge for Michael Bourn deal in 2007 and the second one was the Miguel Tejada-Luke Scott swap.
