Thomas posted a 9.00 ERA in 4 games with New York in 2012. He spent the majority of the year in Triple-A, posting a 3.45 ERA in 57.1 relief innings.
Analysis: Thomas' situation reminds me of that of Justin Hampsons, because both are decent left handed relievers that had success in the minor leagues during the 2012 season. Thomas will probably sign with someone, but I can't see his minor league numbers being translated to the big league level.
